Do
not use your phone on the stand
Do
not eat on the stand
Be
enthusiastic
Do
not be too pushy, or knock the competition
Keep
the stand area clean and tidy
Have
a folder with important information, so if a key person is not
on the stand the people managing the stand can look up information
for the judges [turnover, margin, number of selling events, source
of products, profit so far, are accounts up to date ..........]
Have
a rota of people manning the stand
Do
not let friends or other students swamp your stand and exclude
customers
Arrive
early enough to get a good spot.
Do
not use the excuse "our products are not right for this market"
Listen
to advice from the judges
Have
photographs and details of any other sales events or activities
your company has been involved in. If you do not show the
judges publicity material, flyers, key information etc. then they
cannot mark your company positively for having done them.
